Hit the road with LuckyTruck

Creative director for LuckyTruck, 2022

A trucking company needs a certificate of insurance before a load moves.

Strategy:

Insurance is the paperwork between a truck and a load. The bet was to make the certificate a flow a dispatcher finishes on a phone, in a category that did not exist yet.

Design:

The app, from onboarding to quotes to a dashboard, the landing pages and funnel, the blog, an illustration system and the guidelines. The Figma files are linked from the page.

Leadership:

A Stay.Gold venture, 18 months across 2021 and 2022. I was head of brand and product, and the visual decisions were mine. Category growth ran double digits year over year.

The truck leaves.

A dispatcher pulls the certificate from a phone rather than waiting on a call back, and the truck leaves. Coverage changes and the freight flow live on the same dashboard.

Product in Culture

Where the money moves.

Trucking runs on paper that has to exist before the wheels turn. Whoever turns that paper into a flow on a phone is standing at the exact moment the money moves. LuckyTruck invented that category.
