Lead designer, through PortalMAPS · 2025

Held, June 2025

The brand film. The opening is a test pattern by design; play for the rest.

A conference brand has to survive scale: the keynote wall, the prospectus a sponsor reads on a plane, the post someone sees in line. If those read as one family, the event feels bigger than any room.

The identity was the starting point. The extensions were mine: motion and social units, the sponsor prospectus, keynote screens and the halls, held by one rule, a molecule only sits on the gradient that matches its hue.

I was lead designer across brand, content, media and experience for MAPS, with Superfly organizing, and led the social and paid media plan, from the keynote wall to the post in the feed.

The system

The edges hold. A conference brand fails at the edges: the badge, the tote, the sign that says Staff Only. A locked type stack and a sponsor strip carried all of them, from a lanyard to a wall.

On site

The brand covered the Colorado Convention Center, from the exterior banner and escalator stairs to the screen behind each keynote.
