Chris Znerold is a creative leader and design expert based in Boulder, Colorado.
His practice is shaped by principles of human-centered design, and his process is informed by a diverse set of agency and in-house experiences across brand and product design spaces.
Chris recently published two books and a country-western EP — Story (by) Design, The Futures of Brand, and Gassed Up.
For over twenty years, Chris has leveraged the power of design to help smart teams create positive cultural impact. As a product designer, Chris helped create the first social dating profiles on Match.com, launched an NBA themed basketball game for Disney, and worked as a design lead crafting well-loved digital products like Apple Music, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Airbnb Trips, Playstation Video, and more.
More recently, Chris has thrived as a startup executive where he built a from-scratch product team that launched 50 new products in 2 years to deliver $40M in revenue growth, and co-founded a design studio that launched next-gen digital products in highly regulated spaces.
